Mawinga (“the App”) is a Point of Sale (POS) application designed for smartphone retailers and distributors. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Mawinga collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App.

• Camera Access: The App may request permission to use your device’s camera. Camera access is used only for functions such as:
  • Scanning barcodes or QR codes
  • Capturing product images for your inventory

No images or video from your camera are collected, stored, or shared by Mawinga without your explicit action (for example, when you save a product photo).

• Business Data: The App allows you to record sales, inventory, and other business information. This data remains within your account and is not sold or shared.

2. How We Use Information

• To enable barcode scanning and photo capture features
• To help you manage inventory, sales, and record keeping
• To improve user experience and provide essential functionality of the POS system

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Data you create in the App (sales records, inventory, photos) is controlled by you. If cloud sync or backup features are enabled, data may be transmitted securely to provide those services.
